We are so excited to begin this journey with you and your child(ren) in preparation for their First Holy Reconciliation and First Holy Communion!

First Reconciliation 2024:

Online registration takes place from October 5th to October 20th, 2024.

HopeStone to contact parents With login/password information: Week of November 11th 2024.

Online Reconciliation preparation sessions, release dates, Mondays on:
- November 18
- December 2
- December 16
- (2–3-week date release intervals)

Online parent follow-up: January 6th to 10th, 2025.
Mid-Prep Reconciliation Retreat:
- In person event at the parish on Saturday, January 11th, 2025:
- 2 sessions AM/PM, children will be assigned a time in a separate email

First Reconciliation Celebration at the parish:
- Saturday, January 18, 2025 10:00am to 3:30pm
- Timeslots to be assigned in a separate email

Children do not prepare or receive the sacrament by school group.

First Communion 2025:

Online preparation sessions, release dates, Mondays on:
- January 27
- February 10
- February 24
- (2–3-week date release intervals)

Mid-Prep Communion Retreats:
- In person event at the parish on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 and Sunday, April 6th, 2025:
- 2 sessions AM/PM, children will be assigned a time in a separate email

First Communion Masses Church: Saturday, April 26, 2025. A Mass time will be assigned to children in a separate email

Children do not prepare or receive the sacrament by school group.

A journey for the whole family

A First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation program meant to bring the whole family into the experience.

Dedicating 6 sessions for the child preparing for their Sacraments

and 6 sessions that are separate yet complementary for parents/caregivers. Parents we are hoping that you will watch the short video with your child and assist them in their activity.

We then have something special planned for you that includes reflections and personal testimonies from a range of amazing individuals.

There is a downloadable and printable "Parent Guide" for parents and an activity booklet for your child called "On Your Way" booklet.

Each session can be completed in 20 - 30 minutes.

Our sin, His Grace, our Saviour.

Session 3 - "The Refresh"

Part 1: Reconciliation, forgiveness, mercy.
Part 2: Mock First Reconciliation
Part 3: Examination of Conscience

Session 4 - "The Campsite"

Our hunger, nourishment, refueling.

Session 5 - "The Trial"

The supper, the sacrifice, the rising.

Session 6 - "The Summit"

Part 1: The celebration, the Eucharist, the Joy!
